The Custom Series provides an even balance between snare response and shell sound. The snares feature medium-gauge wire. The Custom Series offers four different strand configurations that can be employed to change the balance between the drum and snare response. Models with more strands tend to provide accentuated snare response, while models with fewer strands allow the shell to be more prominent in the drum sound.
